From Newcastle, for the war.
Newcastle University has investments, research connections, does career funnelling, and infrastructural support for military companies and agencies. Most of which have stakes in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Newcastle University consistently provided false information to its students, staff and the public in stating that it "does not invest in companies making armaments".
We are a group of students and staff of Newcastle University committed to exposing the university's complicity in war crimes, and removing the conditions of oppression it imposes on the rest of the world.

Newcastle University's ethical investment policy states that they would not invest in companies that make "revenue from extraction and production of fossil fuels".
Yet we have found irrefutable evidence that this is not true.
In the following research drop we are disclosing information on three companies: Wolters Kluwer, Wabtec and TE Connectivity; all of which the university invests in.
Disclosure with the hope of divestment is the only corret course of action if we want Newcastle University to demilitarise and decarbonise, to strengthen its commitment to the fight against climate change.

The university authorised the police to violently attack its own students who where protesting against the university's role in the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
Physical violence from the university-police took many forms, including sexual assaults, and hijab removal. As a consequence, many students left the university with bruises, and others were admitted to the hospital.
We believe that it was one of the darkest days in the history of this university, and that it will be commemorated by future students. We also believe that all those involved in authorising violence on that day should be held accountable.
If you were attacked by the police on the 29th May, please send us evidence through this page, or by emailing: leooffcampus@proton.me
